Position Summary:

The Construction Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and materials needed for a variety of construction projects. You will work closely with subcontractors, general contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are bid accurately and competitively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze construction drawings and specifications to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates

  • Utilize PlanSwift and Bluebeam for digital estimating and project review

  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors and general contractors to gather pricing and scope details

  • Evaluate construction methods and best practices specific to Utah regulations and codes

  • Review project plans and specifications for consistency, constructability, and completeness

  • Manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the bidding process

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Full-time availability

  • Proficient with PlanSwift and Bluebeam software

  • Strong communication skills with both subcontractors and general contractors

  • In-depth knowledge of Utah construction best practices and code compliance

  • Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing plans and estimating costs

  • Ability to stay organized and efficient under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual – English and Spanish (Highly Preferred)

  • Previous experience estimating for residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects
